This class prepares you to become an Intern Practitioner. It will deepen your practice and understanding of affirmative prayer and our power to co-create our world. Prerequisites for the class are successful completion of the SOM 100 and SOM 200 courses within the last three years, including SOM 207 (The Edinburgh Lectures) and SOM 208 (Emerson’s Essays). Prospective students must and have the approval of the Instructors.
Upon successful completion of this class, students become Intern Practitioners and join the Center’s Healing Ministry.

This course examines the familiar stories in the Christian Bible and interprets them in a different way. They are not treated as literal truth, or religious dogma, but as stories with profound metaphysical and spiritual messages. We will take familiar sections from scripture, presenting the literal story (as told in the Bible) followed by the metaphysical interpretation of that story and its significance in everyday life.
