This class prepares you to become an Intern Practitioner. It will deepen your practice and understanding of affirmative prayer and our power to co-create our world. Prerequisites for the class are successful completion of the SOM 100 and SOM 200 courses within the last three years, including SOM 207 (The Edinburgh Lectures) and SOM 208 (Emerson’s Essays). Prospective students must and have the approval of the Instructors.
Upon successful completion of this class, students become Intern Practitioners and join the Center’s Healing Ministry.

In his book, The Power of Decision, Raymond Charles Barker shows how indecisive people are failure-prone, as he explores the decision-making process in the individual, especially the role of the subconscious mind in either abetting or thwarting every conscious mind decision. In this class, Rev. Laura will lead you through Dr. Barker’s analysis of the decision-making process and show his specific steps to shift the balance of decision-making power in your favor. (SOM 202)

This course examines the familiar stories in the Christian Bible and interprets them in a different way. They are not treated as literal truth, or religious dogma, but as stories with profound metaphysical and spiritual messages. We will take familiar sections from scripture, presenting the literal story (as told in the Bible) followed by the metaphysical interpretation of that story and its significance in everyday life. This class focuses on healing the perceived separation between personality and Spirit.
