Choices and Consequences

Ezra Taft Benson said that you are free to choose, but you are not free from the consequences of your choice. I love that. It reminds me of something else I have been taught but I don’t remember who said it, “We are not punished FOR our sins; we are punished BY our sins . . . the consequences of our choice.” So remember, what is important in your life is what you decide is important, and this decision will without a doubt create who you are.

When you woke up this morning, what was the first thing on your mind? On your list of “Things To Do,” what was Number 1? When you think about your current priorities, is there a person at the top or is it some kind of doingness? Only you know where your attention is being focused, where your energy is being focused.

The main question you want to ask yourself is: “Where is love in all of this?” We came here to be love and experience love, and remember . . . you are free to choose, but you are not free from the consequences of your choice. So today in everything you do, choose love. Have an incredible day.
