Have you ever had one of those days when you just don’t feel ok about yourself? I think most of us have at some time or another. We can blame that feeling on messages we received in childhood or on life experiences, or we can do something to change our thinking like remembering the truth of who we are.
Science of Mind teaches us that not only are we all born perfect, but that perfection never leaves us. Our society teaches us that perfection is based on how we measure up to standards that are of this world; however, the perfection of our divine nature has nothing to do with anything external such as our physical demeanor or material wealth.
The perfection we teach in Science of Mind is the perfection of your spirit. There is a wholeness we bring into this world, and it goes with us when we leave. This perfection can never be diminished or taken away from us, for it is the divine essence of who we are. When we remember this, all beliefs that prevent us from accepting ourselves fall away. Whenever I forget my spiritual perfection, I say to myself three times, “I’m ok”, so that it really sinks in. When we remind ourselves of our innate goodness, we are able to relax, accept ourselves and move into gratitude about who we are. At the end of the day, no one really wants to be anyone but themselves. We are blessed to live the lives we are living, and we have all the power of the Universe to create a fabulous life simply by using spiritual principles and prayer. You are always ok for you are a divine expression of God, and no one can take that away from you….ever.
